Internet Application Development
Multi-tier Insurance Integrated Solution
The developed solution is a cross-platform multi-channel system targeting insurance enterprises and financial services companies, which provides centralized data management and exchange, and supports business processes at the Point of Sale (POS), thus streamlining the work of the insurance agents/brokers and offering seamless collaboration mechanisms for them.
This web-based system is designed for Intra-, Extra- and Internet operation and was implemented using the cutting-edge platform-independent Java technology, thus delivering consistency and reliability on all major platforms.
The application is highly configurable and it easy to customize to suit specific needs, including internationalization and locale-specific data support. Its flexible module-based architecture allows avoiding data redundancy and simplifies the overall system management via powerful backend functionality. The application fully supports user roles, which ensures no sensitive information can get misused.

Web Real Estate System
This project involved reengineering legacy workflow automation software initially designed for use among networked PCs in a single office environment. The system has been significantly enhanced to support a web-based, multi-office organization.
The legacy software matched the needs of a Real Estate-styled home sales office and supported messaging, prospect and appointment management, property listings maintenance, customer showings, and report generation.
While inheriting the functionality of the legacy software, the enhanced system features support for multiple franchise offices, central data storage management and enterprise-wide data sharing support. It also provides new data exchange capabilities for offices within a specific geographic area.
Tools & technologies used: RedHat Linux, Java, HTML, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, SWING, JavaServlets, JSP, JavaBeans, ErWin, Rational Rose 2000 EE, Crystal Reports, RSA.
Sales Force Automation System
This web-based system is designed to automate the real estate business and is capable of serving several thousands customers at a time. This all-in-one solution provides an integrated working environment for real estate employees, which results in streamlined business processes.
The system provides a centralized storage of business data and enhances communication between real estate agents, brokers, barkers and assistants. It also includes a set of office components such as e-mail, chat, announcements, hot sheets, file storage tools, calendar etc. The system makes it easy to manage customer relations from an initial contact to a finished transaction.
The system is designed for real-time data delivery. However, it is possible to sort, filter and otherwise specify, what information a user wants to see. Users can access news on real estate market within the office or corporation on demand. Agents can also view the information from other offices, provided the office administrator grants access to it.
Tools & technologies used: Delphi, Sybase SQL Anywhere, DB2, RDBMS Oracle, Interbase, JDK, CORBA, HTML, IBM Web Sphere, JavaScript, Java Applets and Servlets.
Integrated Accounting Support System
This project integrates several applications to easily manage corporate assets, including the entirety of the company's material wealth (facilities, furniture, hardware etc.). The main application is implemented as a website (with an Intranet zone for administrators) providing assets management tools. For instance, the system allows to view the the company's facilities, to make an inventory of its material wealth, to deduce formulae for financial estimations etc. The Intranet zone is designed for user registration and credentials management. The application is based on ASP.NET and uses a special ADO.NET-based library written by SaM to access MS SQL Server 2000 database.
Besides, additional general-purpose libraries were developed to implement import/export of .xml and .txt user files and their upload to the server, and user interface controls (special sorting lists with page panning, DHTML-trees etc.).
Tools & technologies used: C# .NET, C++, T-SQL, XSLT, JavaScript, DHTML, Regular Expressions, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, HTML, CSS, Web-Forms, Web-Services, Windows Forms, Windows-Services, Control Panel Applets, TCP/IP, MS SQL Server 2000, IIS 5.0, .NET CLR, Rational tools.
WebHTML Designer and Ely XHTML Kernel
WebHTML Designer and Ely XHTML editor kernel create a technology that brings a user-friendly web-based front-end tool with editor functionality, blended with server-side business logic, to enable web-integrated B2C and B2B solutions for web-based Electronic Data Inter-exchange. Based on the technologies of XML, XSL, XHTML, and XSTL, Ely editor kernel development has achieved unparalleled scalability for an in-browser editor of XML-based documents and objects.
Tools & technologies used: XML, XSL, XSLT, XQL, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP, MSHTMLEd, DHTML.
Web Company Analysis System
A web-system developed to collect and analyse comparable characteristics of a company such as corporate income statement, the number of employees, fields of application, etc. Every registered company receives a questionnaire that can be filled in either online (using a web-browser) or offline (via e-mail with an Excel file attached). Once the questionnaire is filled in, a company representative can do the analysis part. The findings of the comparison are shown in a graphic chart based on CrystalReports technology.
Tools & technologies used: Rational Rose, ASP, VBScript, ADO, MS SQL Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Seagate CrystalReports, MS Project 2000, Rational ClearQuest Web, MS SourceSafe.
Corporate Portal of an Industry Leader
This project involved developing a highly versatile corporate website with an aim to reinforce the company’s online presence. The developed web site provides a dynamic reference catalog featuring the available items and products. The system additionally delivers powerful back-end content management functionality.
Initially developed with RedHat 6.0 Linux as target platform, the software inherits the cross-platform consistency of Enhydra App Server and can work equally well in both Windows and Unix-like environments. Later it was adapted to run on Debian GNU/Linux.
Tools & technologies used: Java, Enhydra Application Server, JScript, DHTML, HTML, RDBMS Oracle 8i.
Web Analysis System
This is an IBM Lotus platform-based software solution SaM designed specifically to suit the internal needs of the corporate Marketing Department. This advanced front-end tool can automatically analyze the server’s log file to collect and provide various custom statistics on the visitors of the company’s web site. The statistics displayed may include what people and when accessed SaM’s web site, what pages they visited, what country they come from, and how long each user session lasted. A user needs the IBM Lotus Notes client to access the statistics database.
