Project View is an open source Automated Quality Management System (AQMS) conceived and designed as an integrated web-based tool that imposes rigid quality requirements on the software development process and supports remote interaction of the development team with the project managers.

This is a unique open source system that integrates project scheduling, project documentation, bug tracking and feature request management and a CVS repository, while ensuring ISO-9001 compliant workflow.

Project View dramatically decreases the amount of paper-work within a software project. Initially designed to support workflow in compliance with ISO-9001 requirements, it ensures the highest level of visibility of al the project activities:

• Web-based user interface enables the project team members to easily collaborate and communicate online anytime, anywhere, just using a browser. The system fully supports role-based privileges, which ensures no sensitive data can get misused.
• Project scheduling. Every project comprises a number of tasks that can be scheduled and assigned to specific team members. Gantt chart helps grasp al the project activities at a glance. The data can be easily imported/exported to/from Microsoft Project 2002.
• Project documentation. Every task is associated with a specific library of related documentation. Version control and access privileges are fully supported.
• Bug tracking and feature requests management ensures all the relevant team members are kept updated on the defect/request statuses, including all the related managerial and technical details.
• Comprehensive reports provide easy access to every step taken for a particular task. You can also get exhaustive statistics on the project progress and task statuses.
• CVS browser is implemented to help navigate among the software modules produced.
• E-mail notifications ensure every team member stays updated on all the changes in the relevant tasks' statuses.
• Online forums enable the team members to easily discuss every task, defect or document remotely.
