This is a business system designed to match the needs of pharmaceutical companies who need to easily manage activities of their out-of-the-office employees. The system comprises the main database running in the head corporate office, employees' databases and a number of supporting applications and delivers centralized data management functionality. All the updates from the employees’ databases are transferred to the main office via FTP. The data is synchronized by a bi-directional transfer.

This project involved porting of a medical database application from Windows CE to the Palm OS platform. This application is designed to serve as an aid-software that facilitates the clinical decision-making process. The software summarizes medical guidelines, recommendations and the latest findings thus enabling practitioners to answer immediate clinical questions at the Point of Care with the right evidence anytime. The embedded medical database is updated and reviewed on a regular basis to allow well-informed clinical decisions for a better patient management.
